George Fox Delegation Visits Capital Normal University

Director with the George Fox University of Oregon USA who is in charge of international student recruitments visited Capital Normal University on March 10, Mr. Gong Huili, the executive vice President of Capital Normal University, Ms. Liu Xiaotian, Dean of the College of International Education and other university officials hosted a warm reception.
Capital Normal University signed a cooperation agreement with George Fox in 2008 and planned for student exchanges from the autumn semester. The exchange will be carried out in two projects: Double Bachelor Degree Project and Economic Management Master s Degree Project. The Double Bachelor Degree Project is mainly targeted for freshmen in Capital Normal s computer, economy, trading, biology, chemicals, history and mathematics majors, with a 1+2+1 mechanism. Students in this project will study in Capital Normal University for the first and fourth year and go to George Fox for the second and third year, they will be awarded two bachelor s degrees after securing qualified scores. Students shall pay their tuition fees in this project, but George Fox promised to award about 6,000 USD in scholarship for each exchange student, and guaranteed a considerable increase in the amount in following years based on their academic scores.
George Fox University ranks Top 140 among a total of over 4000 colleges and universities in USA, and ranks Top 20 among regional universities in West Coast of USA. George Fox is evaluated as one of the most valuable university in West USA. This exchange project will help Capital Normal students increase their academic knowledge and employment competitiveness.
