The Second Session of the 11th National People's Congress was held in Beijing on March 5th, 2009 at 9:00 a.m. The government's work report delivered by Premier WEN Jiabao attracted the students' great attention.

Many students went to Shaw Building of Humanities to watch the live broadcast of the government's work report by Premier WEN Jiabao. During the two hours' report, the report got big rounds of applause many times. Different students were concerned about different contents of the report. Many students were moved by Premier WEN's report. They appreciated the government's great concern for college students, especially for their employments, and felt confident to face the economic crisis in their job hunting.
After the live broadcast, WU Kechang, Professor of School of Politics and Public Administration, and ZENG Xuemin, director of United Front Committee, explained some heated issues of the report for the students.
