Mid-Autumn Festival Reception Held

On the evening of Sept. 11, the International Affairs Office held the Mid-Autumn Festival Reception at the Silk Road Restaurant. The reception was attended by more than 60 people, including foreign teachers, visiting scholars, exchange students from sister universities and deans, foreign affairs secretaries from different colleges and schools.

Ms. Yu Huifen introduced to the guests the origin of the Mid-Autumn Festival. The following riddle guessing games familiarized the foreign friends with more knowledge in Chinese culture. The party was also highlighted at the end by performances of two martial arts performers, Mr. Wu Jubao from the College of Liberal Arts and Miss Guo Lijun from the College of Journalism and Communication. The foreign friends followed their movements and practiced Taiji Boxing.
