Mr. Jiang Shuzhuo, vice president of JNU gave a lecture titled Urban Culture and Urban Aesthetics on August 11th.
Urbanization is more than just a process that population centralizes in city, it is also a process of alternation in social structure, lifestyle, values and thoughts and cultures etc. When it comes to the urban cultural resources and urban cultural construction, he said history is the root and memory of a city. Historical and cultural resources are the foundation of a city, and where the character of a city situates.
