University Heads attend the Launch Ceremony of the first Sino-US Operation Smile
The launch ceremony of the first Sino-US Operation Smile was held ceremoniously in Dongfang Hotel on September 13th. The ceremony was jointly undertaken by the first affiliated hospital of our university and the Guangzhou General Hospital of Guangzhou Military Area Command of Chinese PLA.
Present on the ceremony included Professor Mark W from Yale University and his medical team and heads from charity groups and Mr. Lu Daxiang, vice president of our university.
From September 15th to 20th, Professor Mark W. and his medical teams will stay in Guangzhou and provide free plastic surgery for 100 children who are suffering from facial deformity.
