Mr. Hu Jun Pays Visit to Mr. Tung Chee-hwa

Mr. Tung was very happy upon hearing the account and asked Mr. Hu about the university on teaching and research, Hong Kong students and their studies and lives in Jinan University, the activeness of alumni associations, graduate employement, finanical problems araised from the policy of students of Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan given level fees etc.

Also, after giving an introduction on the politics, economy of Hong Kong, and the development Hong Kong has obtained since the successful practice of One Country, Two System , Mr. Tung said, Jinan University is shoulering the task and commission of cultivating talents for Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and the overseas Chinese communities, and it has made much contribution for the smooth return of Hong Kong and her prosperity.
