University Heads Attend the Birthday Party of Mr. SEK KING-YEE

Mr. Sek King-yee, born in Nanhai of Guangdong Province in 1961, is currently the director of board of directors of Hon Wing Book Co Ltd of Hong Kong. Since his being employed as member of the board of trustees of our university, he donated 48,021 volumes of books to the library of our university, valued at 5,200,000 RMB.

The Dunhuang Cave manus, part of the donations, which is deserved to be mentioned, is worth 100,000 HK dollars. A Sek King-yee Donation exbition room is set up specially in the library of our university to store and display Mr. Sek s donation. Then in 1997, Mr. Sek donated 3,284 volumes of books to Shenzhen Tourism College of our university.

In 2000, he made present to the library of our university the miniature of Independence Evening Post and that of Central Daily News. Still in 2001, he donated 4,000 volumes of books to Zhuhai College.
