The first session of the fourteenth congress of student representatives was held

Hu Jun president, Mr. Jia Yimin vice-president and all faculty scholastic secretaries attended the first session of the fourteenth student congress on the afternoon of 12 may. 315 students selected by 16 faculties gathered together to ponder this year's work statement of congress of student representatives standing committee and student union. Participants elected candidates for chairman of next student union and debriefed six main proposal reports of current congress of student representatives standing committee. Meeting adopted issues such as construction of study style of undergraduate autonomic norm in Jinan University (pilot edition).Mr. Jia delivered a speech for the leaders of party and government in university at the meeting. He pointed out that the meeting represented the improvement of student's self-management which would open up new perspectives on campus. Mr. Jia emphasized that our school would pay high attention to issues raised by salutatorian and responsed in time to meet undergraduate teaching assessment and satisfy the need of university's self-development. Meantime, he hoped students could keep fashion to strengthen construction of study style, and devote intelligent and power to establish harmonious campus. Mr. Hu and Mr. Jia interviewed the whole members of meeting president affectionately during the meeting.National union of students, provincial union of students and brotherly universities such as Peking University sent messages of greeting and congratulatory letters. Some student cadres in SUN YAT-SEN University, South China University of Technology, South China Normal University, South China Agricultural University and so on were invited to attend the meeting.
