Mr. Yang Guoqiang Visits JNU
Mr. Yang Guoqiang, a Jinan University alumnus and Chairman of the board of Country Garden Hondings Company Ltd, returned to our university and visited Jinan University History Hall accompanied by President Hu Jun on 11th October. Mr. Yang was given a detailed account of the photos that have displayed a century s glory of the university. Also, Mr. Hu gave an introduction to the centenary celebration and the current development of the university. Mr. Yang said he was very proud of the alma mater s achievements and glory and that he had been concerned with the undertaking of education and was very willing to give support to the postgraduate education and high-level personnel cultivation.
Mr. Yang Guoqiang graduated from Jinan University in the 1990 s. He started from scratch over 10 years ago and established Country Garden, which listed on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong in April, 2007.
