The 1st Affiliated Hospital receives five injured survivors
After waiting nine hours at the airport, the doctors received another five injured survivors of the Sichuan quake to be sent to the first affiliated hospital of our university at 2:00am, 22nd May. They were Sun Yueqiong 42 years old, Tang Chaodong, 72 years old, Ye Zailan 58 years old, Liu Tianxiu, 31 years old and Xu Lu 23 years old.
Doctors of the first affiliated hospital conducted thorough medical checks for them and had worked out a strategy for treatment. Mr. Hu Jun, president of our university and Mr. Lu Daxiang, vice president of our university visited the five patients on the very day.
