University heads express solicitude for doctors back from Sichuan Quake Zone

You are heroes, said Mr. Jiang Shuzhuo and Mr. Lu Daxiang, vice presidents of our university to Liu Yongxin and Liu Ning, two doctors had just cone back from quake-hit area of Sichuan Province.

Liu Yongxin and Liu Ning were among the first medical team of Guangdong that had been sent to the quake-hit area of Sichuan Province. As soon as they arrived on the night of May 13^th, they entered Ying Xiu County of Wenchuan, one of the earthquake-stricken areas and set a medical spot. Lin Yongxin, was among the first 9 members that entered into Genda by helicopter and established the first medical spot.

Our tasks in the quake zone included emergency surgery for the injured in temporary camp-hospital, distributing medicines, etc. We have undergone many after-quakes, like thunders. It was horrible, but we got used to it at last ; Work in the quake zone was very energy-demanding, though, I could still endure it. However, when I came back, I feel exhausted .
