Cash donations exceed 1.8 million yuan

As to 3:00pm, 20^th May, the cash donations collected in our university totaled to 1.81 million yuan, HK$3,688, 257.6 Macao-dollar, 113 U.S. dollars. Also, 1.34 million yuan have already donated to the affected area, with 400 thousand yuan donated via the Overseas Chinese Office of the State Council 740 thousand yuan via Guangdong Charity Federation, 100 thousand yuan via Guangdong Communist Youth League, another 100 thousand yuan via Guangzhou Branch Red Cross Society of China. Also, the rest of the donation will be sent to the quake zone as soon as possible.
