Komono Show by the Student Delegation from Japan s Kobe Women s University

In order to commemorate the 35th anniversary of the normalization of Sino-Japanese relations,university sent a student delegation to South China Normal University (SCNU) and gave a kimono show on the night of March, 11. Professor Hirata Kouzou, vice president of Kobe Women s University made a speech at the beginning of the show. He highly praised the friendly relationship between the two universities and the cultural exchanges between the faculty and students. He also hoped the friendship between the two countries will continue to grow.
Professor Okamoto Youko introduced the knowledge of kimono to the audience. The beautiful Kimono and the excellent performance by the Japanese students impressed all the audience. Students from SCNU also performed Chinese songs with the traditional Chinese musical instruments.

The next day, professor Sakagutsi Hiroyuki gave a lecture to the teachers and students of the Japanese studies entitled Japanese People s Sense of Seasons .
