The Open Ceremony of SCNU Joining AUF

On October 12 mornings, the open ceremony of SCNU joining AUF was held in the library of Nanhai Campus. Mr. Olivier Garro, the AUF Asian-pacific director participated in the ceremony. Mr. Liang Tiexiang, vice director of Foreign Affairs Office, Mr. Liu Kerong, Ms. Wu Jianli, vice presidents of Nanhai Campus together with directors of relevant departments participated as well.

Mr. Garro expressed his congratulations to SCNU s joining. Mr. Liu and Ms. Wu introduced the international cooperation of SCNU and Nanhai Campus and the development of French major as well as the future proposal. Mr. Garro and SCNU leaders unveiled the nameplate of AUF Membership.

AUF stands for Agence universitaire de la Francophonie. It is a global network of French-speaking higher education and research institutions. It has 759 members in more that 80 countries. SCNU is the 4th member in Mainland China and 1st one in Guangdong province.(by Nanhai Campus Office)
