SCNU established a Confucius Institute with France s Reunion University. This institute will act as a platform for the cultural and academic exchanges between the two universities. SCNU will send teachers to Reunion University to help the students and the local people to learn the Chinese language and culture and to learn more about modern China. At the same time, SCNU will promote the French language and culture among her students.
This Institute got great supports from China s headquarter of Confucius Institutes in Beijing, the Chinese Consulate General in Reunion, the Reunion University authorities, the Education Department of Reunion Province, France.
