September 27, Dr. Dorsamy (Gansen) Pillay, the Vice President of The National Research Foundation (NRF) of South Africa paid a special visit to Jiangnan University. Dr. Pillay made a presentation to the professors and Ph D students about The National Research Foundation (NRF) of South Africa: Collaboration with the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) and explained the application procedures for the fund. At present, under the financial support of NRF, Prof. Wang Zhengxiang is cooperating with Prof. Bernard Prior at Stellenbosch University and Prof. Suren Singh at Durban University of Technology of South Africa on the project titled the Research on Molecular Modification of Industrial Microorganism Enzyme.
