Prof. Ju is accomplished in many aspects such as sketch, watercolor, oil painting, engraving, sculpture, pottery and porcelain, oriental brush drawing, oriental art history and so on. He s an expert in creative work on oriental brush drawing. Years of cultural accumulation makes his works take a root deep in traditional Chinese art. In addition, his works also absorb Western artistic expressions since he has been living abroad for many years. Consequently, his artistic characteristic is a combination of east and west in a way of Nature. As to the Sea of Clouds and Yangtze River Miles Chart displayed in the exhibition, they are two of the most successful paintings of Prof. Ju, which fully expressed his deep affection for the beautiful landscapes of his motherland though living abroad.
