Current Students

There are about 26,000 students on campus at Tianjin University, among whom 9,354 are post-graduate students (for master and doctoral degrees). In addition, there are over 1,400 overseas students from all over the world, studying for degrees and language courses on campus.

For Undergraduate Students

The Office of Undergraduate Affairs is responsible for the admission and supervision of all full-time undergraduate students on campus. The office deals with the academic and administrative issues related to undergraduate students' education:

For Postgraduate Students

The University attaches great importance to teaching, research and social service. Students studying for master and doctor degrees are taking active parts in scientific research and cooperation projects at different levels, including those with industries. The current population of full-time postgraduate students amounts to 8600 on campus. In addition, there are 5000 part-time students studying for further degrees.

Tianjin University is among the first group of universities that have set up a Graduate School and confer master and doctoral degrees in many specialties. The Graduate School is responsible for the academic and administrative issues related to full-time & part-time postgraduate students.
