An impressive line up of international judges said that they, ‘WOULD WORK WITH ANY ONE OF THE TEXPRINT DESIGNERS” as they enthused over the selection at Texprint while judging the winners of Texprint’s Special Prizes during the First View exhibition in London.
Diane von Furstenberg and Jasper Conran joined Michael Herz and Graeme Fidler from Aquascutum, Roberto Rimondi and Tommaso Aquilano of 6267, Laura Watson of Saltwater and Katharine Pulford of Habitat to choose six prize winners in the categories of Breaking New Ground, Colour, Interior Fashion, Knit, Print and Weave.
The winners are amongst 24 carefully selected designers who represent the star graduates from UK colleges. All 24 designers will show their work at Indigo, part of Première Vision Pluriel in Paris, 18th – 21st September.
The six prize winners will also exhibit their work at Messe Frankfurt (HK)’s Interstoff Asia Essential exhibition in Hong Kong in October.
Texprint is a non-profit making registered charity, whose aim is to link the best newly graduated textile designers with industry.
