India : Fashionistas flocked to 48th National Garment Fair

The 48th National Garment Fair (NGF), the largest apparel fair for the domestic retail industry, organized by the Clothing Manufacturers Association of India (CMAI) at the Bombay Exhibition Centre, Goregaon, Mumbai, ended on July 27 on a higher note.
The fair was inaugurated by renowned film star Jackie Shroff along with Rahul Mehta, President CMAI.
The National Garment Fair also hosted six fashion shows wherein prominent models Aryan Vaid, Ahad Khan, Abhijit Singh, Dheeraj, Feroze Khan, Mihika Verma, Tanya Kozadey, Tejasvi Durvi and Misha Singh participated.
Well-known fashion designer Tarun Tahilani showcased his haute creations for the first time in the fair.
The exposition was spread over an area of over 25,000 square metres where more than 250 companies participated in the event to display their latest collection. This event proved to be the perfect platform for retailers, vendors & brands to interact with each other.
The leading players who took part in the expo were Louis Philippe, Van Heusen, Allen Solly, Peter England, Notting Hill, Hues, Tibre, 109 F, Siyaram MSD, Oxemberg, Classic Polo, Smash, Richlook, Tessuti etc.
More than 30,000 people visited the trade fair, making it a huge success.
