Textile and Apparel Association (Vitas) recently forecasted that the country will earn $7.5 billion in exports, achieving its target of 2007.
So far, exports growth of the textile and apparel industry is standing stably at 25 percent and shipments to its biggest market, US, has been recovering because of the support from its importers.
By end of this month, US Department of Commerce (DOC) is expected to finalize its decision on its monitoring mechanisms.
Local experts and enterprises are hoping that the DOC will stop monitoring mechanism or any measure like anti-dumping on Made-in-Vietnam textile and apparel products.
