The Walking Company, the largest retailer of comfort footwear in the world announced plans to open six new locations during September 2007.
The locations of the six new stores are Richmond, VA, Regency Square Mall; Manchester, NH, Mall of New Hampshire; Skokie, IL, Old Orchard Mall; Buffalo, NY, Walden Galleria; Highland Village, TX, Shops at Highland Village; and Tucson, AZ, La Encantada Mall.
Each location will feature the latest styles and designs from more than 40 premium comfort footwear brands such as ECCO, Mephisto and Dansko.
The Walking Company also offers a wide selection of comfort footwear from hard-to-find quality brands from around the world such as Pikolinos and Beautifeel. The store offers a comprehensive selection for every walk of life, including dress shoes, sandals, clogs, boots and active.

Customers who come into the store can have their feet scanned to identify their foot type and pressure points, and determine the appropriate Lynco orthotic for their feet. Orthotics, once used as a remedy for foot conditions, are widely used by people wanting increased comfort and improved footwear performance.
