France : Local textile manufacturers meet with English buyers

The inaugural “The Best of French Fabrics” (BoFF) last year ensured a successful beginning for French fabrics being offered to the British market. Top names, new products and luxurious atmosphere generated positive feedback from exhibitors and visitors.
The Best of French Fabrics 2nd edition, where the French textile manufacturers meet with English buyers, will be organized by the association of France Tissu Maille on October 23rd 2007.
A French fabrics show-room presenting the latest trends as well as the best in class French cloth weavers, knitters and lace makers’ collections will be held in the heart of London in the prestigious Café Royal/Le Méridien Piccadilly Hotel.
In addition to the static exhibition, the BoFF 2007 will also have conference on current market trends and the latest design concepts by one of the top five worldwide trend-setter offices.
This time the BoFF will also invite key French manufacturers of eco-friendly textile with emphasis on organic cotton, linen, bamboo, lenpur and natural fibres to provide an ideal platform for sourcing high value-added textile products.
Today, when environmental concerns are not only headline news, but also trendy, the French manufacturers are getting involved in ecological issues by producing more and more 100% bio fabrics.
With the participation of French producers Bel Maille, Berlaine , Billon, Bugis, Cat'Land, Clarenson, Cotton Land,Desseilles, Deveaux, Ercea, Isoule Textile, ITC, Jabouley, Jules Tournier et Fils, Lepoutre Ternynck, MG.
Creation, Noyon, Philea, Seripress, Sprintex, Stock Union, Textiles en Biais, Tissage du Causse, Tissages de l'aigle, Tissage Perrin, Trouillet, Verne et Clet, as well as the foreign companies, the visitors of the fair will be able to find fabrics for every lifestyle.
