A new line of stylish, vegan footwear was announced by NEUAURA, offering fashion options for customers that prefer animal free products. NEUAURA set out to fill a void in stylish vegan footwear. With her extensive experience in the footwear industry founder of the NEUAURA brand, Arti Upadhyay, had a desire to create stylish, quality vegan footwear that is both high in fashion and animal-friendly.
"I founded NEUAURA because I am a vegetarian who also believes in a fashion-forward lifestyle. Over the years I have come across many women like me, who were looking for fashionable, high-quality, and affordable animal-friendly products," states Upadhyay. "NEUAURA was launched out of my concern for the welfare of the animals and the environment, as well as my love for fashion."
Upadhyay's personal style is to incorporate both contemporary and classic pieces into her wardrobe and this is reflected in the designs of the NEUAURA brand. Setting NEUAURA footwear apart is the creative and innovative manner in which the shoes get named.
"Every season I have a theme when I pick names for the shoes. For Spring 2009 I named the shoes after endangered species, for Fall 2009 the shoes are named after rivers from around the world," notes Upadhyay.
Through the creative use of quality non-leather materials, NEUAURA has developed a line of footwear that is high quality, fashion-forward and uncompromising in the protection of animals and the environment. NEUAURA shoes do not contain any leather, fur, silk, wool, shell, or pearls. Furthermore, no animal by-products are used during manufacturing and/or finishing processes. NEUAURA has also been fortunate to find a manufacturing facility in Brazil that has sustainable, eco-conscious business practices which makes the shoes more environmentally friendly.
