Sep. 2, 2010 - It is reported that National Aluminium Company has issued a long term alumina export tender for 270,000 tonnes.
A company official said that the last date for submission of bids is September 15th 2010. The deliveries against the tender would be made over 2011 in nine batches of 30,000 tonnes each.
The official said that the Bhubaneswar headquartered NALCO, which produces both alumina and aluminium earlier this week sold 30,000 tonnes of alumina for USD 326.80 per tonne FoB to Hong Kong based Noble Resources. The alumina is scheduled for shipment next month.
