Nov. 22, 2010 - Carborundum Universal announced a phenomenal rise in standalone net profit for the quarter ended September 2010. During the quarter, the profit of the company rose 80.44% to Rs 268.50 million from Rs 148.80 million in the same quarter previous year.
Net sales for the quarter for the quarter rose 29.38% to Rs 2,381.50 million, while total income for the quarter rose 29.50% to Rs 2,413.40 million, when compared with the prior year period.
It reported earnings of Rs 2.88 a share during the quarter, registering 81.13% growth over prior year period.
