DSF Refractories made Improvements to the layout area at Friden

Jan. 3, 2011 - DSF Refractories and Minerals Ltd is an independent refractory manufacturer and processor of refractory minerals, based in the Peak District of Derbyshire, in the centre of England. Because of the critical nature of many of the refractories produced by DSF it is common for our customers to carry out a pre-shipment inspection.
This can be an inspection of the individual blocks or an inspection of a pre-assembled section of the furnace.
The DSF inspection area has been improved by the provision of new low energy, high brightness lighting, linked to a repainting of the area to greatly improve the lighting levels and make inspections go much more smoothly.
The lighting project is part of a wider scheme that improves fuel efficiency and reduces carbon emissions from our Friden site which has been suppoted by the Carbon Trust.
