Highsun Group Wins Rights To Explore Kaolin In Guangxi

Apr. 1, 2011 - Beihai Kaolin Technology, a subsidiary of Guangdong Highsun Group, won the exploration rights to a kaoline mine in Hepu county, Guangxi provnce, from the Land and Resources Department of Guangxi province, on March 30, reports Shanghai Securities News, citing a group filing.
The kaolin mine is to have production capacity of three million tons of kaoline a year on an exploration area of 12.4642 square kilometers.
The mine has total reserves of 99.8 million tons of kaolin. The exploration rights are valid for 27 years.
Highsun Group said earlier that Beihai Kaolin will invest more than one billion yuan to expand its annual kaolin output to more than one million tons, to become the largest producer of kaoline in Asia.
