Yanshan ethylene plant achieves record output

The ethylene production plant of Yanshan Petrochemicals achieved record output in 2009 in producing an annual output of 841,000 tons, an increase of 56,000 tons year on year and 10,000 tons higher then the target set at the onset of the year.

Its main economic and technical indicators significantly improved, year-on-year yields of ethylene stood at 0.96 percentage points and was also able to reduce energy consumption significantly during the year.
