Food safety a major consideration for Florida's Citrus industry

Food safety has become a huge issue in recent years for citrus growers and other agriculturists. In the first three reports, University of Florida assistant professor Tim Spann discusses Good Agricultural Practices (GAPs) that the citrus industry is working on to show it has strong food safety programs. The fourth report is about a workshop that can help individual growers set up their own food safety plans.
