Jointly organized by the Bureau of International Cooperation and the Departments of Mathematical and Physical Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Earth Sciences, and Engineering and Materials Sciences of NSFC, the Chinese panel meeting for A3 Foresight Program for the year 2010 was held in Beijing on June 11, 2010. Chinese panelists and related staff from NSFC attended the meeting.
Initiated by NSFC, JSPS and KOSEF (now NRF), A3 Foresight Program is a major cooperative program among the science communities in China, Japan and Korea. The research field for the program this year is renewable energy. The independent panel meetings organized by the 3 funding agencies respectively act as the first phrase of the whole evaluation process.
