Vice President Shen Wenqing met with a delegation led by Prof. Frederick Dylla, CEO of the American Institute of Physics (AIP) on 18 June, 2010.
Prof. Shen warmly welcomed the delegation and briefed NSFC s funding status in physical and mathematical sciences and China s development in the field. Prof. Dylla expressed AIP s willingness to further promote the bilateral collaboration with NSFC.
Prof. Meng Qingguo, Deputy Director-General of the Department of Mathematical and Physical Sciences and Prof. Bai Ge, Deputy Director-General of the Bureau of International Cooperation attended the meeting.
