Vice President Shen Wenqing met with a delegation led by Dr. William Brinkman, Director of Office of Science, US Department of Energy (DOE) on 22 June, 2010.
Prof. Shen briefed the development of NSFC and that of China s high energy physics research. Dr. Brinkman introduced his office s collaboration with counterpart Chinese institutes and scientists and expressed his willingness to further promote bilateral cooperation with NSFC.
Prof. Li Ming, Deputy Director-General of the Department of Engineering and Materials Sciences and Prof. Bai Ge, Deputy Director-General of the Bureau of International Cooperation attended the meeting.
