Water is everywhere, and Chengdu is a water city. But do you really know the waters around us?
The Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding and Chengdu No. 7 Middle School are cooperating in a conservation education activity entitled Panda Action for Water for a semester. Students will learn about water s cycle, it s future in Chengdu, survey water facts in Chengdu, and hold a public water conservation event at their school for the community.
On March 5th, the base staff started the first lesson for Panda Action for Water. During the lesson, the staff introduced the water cycle, water global and domestic water facts, information about Chengdu s water, the pollution, and the relationship between water and our everyday lives in an interactive fashion. At the same time, team building among the students was also done in order to lay a good foundation for future activies.
