Myanmar will take part in the ASEAN Football Federation(AFF) Futsal Championship to be held in March in Jakarta, Indonesia, the Myanmar Football Federation (MFF) confirmed on Friday.
Ye Htut, chairman of MFF Futsal and Beach Soccer Committee, said that Myanmar would use the competition to nurture local talent for the 2013 SEA Games which are to be hosted by Myanmar.
According to Htut, 14 players have been picked from last month's Tiger Futsal Cup tournament and are now being trained by an Iranian coach.
