Guyuan Museum

Is worth a visit if you want to learn about the history of the area. It contains a collection of artifacts spanning the centuries from the Stone Age to the modern age. It houses some artifacts that are considered to be national treasures. It is one of the city's highlights partly because the building is so well naturally lighted from many windows. The most important artifacts date to about 1,500 years ago. "The Ancient Civilization of Guyuan" and "The Ancient Silk Road in Guyuan" are the two most frequented halls.

Guyuan Museum is at No.133 Xicheng Road in the city.
