On Jan. 13, three faculty of the School of Journalism of Universit de Strasbourg visited YUFE and discussed future collaboration with the Vice President of our university.

Both parties talked about each other s university and discussed the collaboration mode. The Vice President, Mr. Hong Yin suggested students exchange and faculty exchange as initial steps. And the faculty agreed to it and said that they will discuss the issues in details and sign an agreement when they visit Kunming again in May this year.

Strasbourg is the capital and principal city of the Alsace region in north-eastern France and is the official seat of the European Parliament. Located close to the border with Germany, it is the capital of the Bas-Rhin department. Strasbourg is the seat of several European institutions such as the Council of Europe (with its European Court of Human Rights, its European Directorate for the Quality of Medicines and its European Audiovisual Observatory) and the Eurocorps as well as the European Parliament and the European Ombudsman of the European Union. The city is the seat of the Central Commission for Navigation on the Rhine. With several renowned universities, Strasbourg is known as the university town of France, and is the second biggest scientific research center of France.
