The Roundtable supports the ideas that education plays a key role in the development of society, economy, science and technology, and politics in the era of globalization; although advanced science and technology insert a big influence upon the types of learning environment and individual s ability to learn, the positive function of teachers should be fully approved and teachers have to accept the challenges brought about by social reform; universities and other education institutions as the core of education system of all countries are not only responsible for promoting professional level of teachers and providing learning opportunities and premium quality education for students but also should contribute to realize nationwide lifelong education and to improve the level of education throughout the country.
