The Chengdu Panda Base has announced that in order to let two pandas live comfortably in Macau, the giant panda enclosure at the Seac Pai Van Park is currently under construction. The construction has been given priority by the Municipalities of Macau even though the weather is pretty hot now. In order to deal with the problem of increased visitors after the two pandas come to Macau, reception facilities at the Seac Pai Van Park will be improved and a temporary car park will be added near by.
The giant panda enclosure at the Seac Pai Van is planned to be completed in September. The main entrance is temporarily closed at present, due to the expansion of the park entrance and adjustments to the park facilities.
The giant panda enclosure will be built according to national statdards of exhibition construction. After careful evaluation and monitoring by the Chengdu experts, the noise level of construction outdoors has been kept lower than 50 db. In order to help the two pandas adapt to their new life in the city quickly , the experts suggested playing as the noise of water and music.
