The Gross Output Value of Construction Rose in the First Three Quarters

In the first three quarters of 2007, all the construction enterprises in China (refers to those construction enterprises having overall or professional contracting qualification, excluding those sub-contractors in labor services, same as follows) achieved construction output value of 3,058.2 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 22.7 percent.

The total area of housing construction by these enterprises was 3.78 billion square meters, a year-on-year increase of 18.3 percent.

The total income of all these construction enterprises was 2,762.4 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 26.6 percent.

The total profit made by all these construction enterprises was 65.8 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 44.5 percent.
