"Winter Jasmine" smoothly launched

Oct.10th was a wonderful day in the fog city of Chongqing, where dark clouds and autumn rain are normal in this season. At 10 a.m., with a deafening sound of gongs and drums as well as firecrackers, and colored ribbons full of the sky, the stainless steel ship of Sinochem International "Winter Jasmine" slowly slid into Yangtze River of great momentum under the bright sunshine.

As the first one to launch among the 12 liquid chemicals ships undergoing construction by Sinochem International, "Winter Jasmine" was constructed by East Chuan Boatyard, a domestically famous one for special ship construction.

This 3450 tons IMO II chemicals ship, the classification of which is CCS, has unrestricted navigating space. Therefore, it can meet the standard of various major Oil companies and CDI, reaching the top class among same types of ships in China.

East Chuan Boatyard is expected to officially deliver "Winter Jasmine" to Sinochem International in next April. The launch of the ship this time has accelerated the paces of Sinochem International towards the advanced logistics.
