Sinochem Ranks the Eighth Among the 2005 Top Chinese Companies

On August 18, the 2005 Top 500 Chinese Companies list was released. Sinochem ranked the eighth. Sinopec ranked No.1 with RMB634.2 billion of turnover.

The first ten companies in the list also include State Grid, CNPC, China Mobile, ICBC, China Life, China Telecom, Bao Steel and CCB. This year, the turnover of the top 500 Chinese companies reach RMB11.75 trillion, accounting for over 86% of the NDP. Sinochem Corporation is the shareholder of Sinochem International, one of the four major state-owned oil companies.
