Sinochem International granted the title of "Enterprise with outstanding contribution to economy dev

On March 15, Administrative Bureau of Shanghai Pudong Lujiazui Function Area granted Sinochem International the title of "Enterprise with outstanding contribution to economy development for 2006 of Shanghai Lujiazui Financial Zone".

Last year, about 20,000 non-banking or insurance related enterprises from all over the world have made great contributions to the building of Shanghai into a world financial center. In order to further promote the building of financial trade zone, Administrative Bureau of Shanghai Pudong Lujiazui Function Area honored some 100 enterprises including Sinochem International.

In 2006, guided by the principle of leadership in diversified industries, the earning of stable business of Sinochem International has taken the proportion of over 70%, with contribution from logistics and industrial investment reaching nearly 50%. Disregarding the over-target profit of coke for the same period of time, the net profit for the company has grown 30% compared with that of last year. The company has entered the track of rapid growth and sustainable development.
