SinoChem International Won Exporting Contribution Prize

On Apr. 6, Shanghai Pudong New District Government awarded the Exporting Contribution Prize to SinoChem International to honor the contribution that SinoChem International has made to the foreign trade and the general economy development in Pudong 2005.

The income for the main business of SinoChem International in 2005 reached RMB 15.9 billion, its profit reached RMB 712 million, paid 475 billion taxes and the total exporting amount reached USD 295 million; wherein, coke (Metallurgical Coke) reached USD 172 million, olefin reached USD 45 million and lutein reached USD 10 million, ranking as one of the Top 20 companies with the highest exporting amount in Pudong New District and has made outstanding contribution to the foreign trade and general economic development.

Xian Ming, the Deputy General Manager of SinoChem International, attended the meeting and received the prize on behalf of his company. Kang Huijun, the Deputy President of Pudong New District and Tang Qingfu, the Deputy Director of Shanghai Foreign Economic & Trade Commission lectured in the meeting for addressing that the exporting in 2006 would focus on getting success by quality, promoting innovation, improving connotation, optimizing structure and building brands.
