On Oct. 17, Mr. Niels Stolt-Nielsen, CEO of Stolt Group as the world largest transportation service provider to chemical products and special liquid cargo paid a visit to Sinochem International. Xu Weihui, General Manager of Sinochem International met the guest.
Sinochem International has close cooperative relations with Stolt Group. Several years ago, the two parties had made investment for the joint-venture of Aoxing Ship Management Company. A complete set of "Safe Management System" had then been set up to the world standards with continuous improvement with the certification of Safety Management Certificate (SMC). In September last year, Sinochem International and Stolt Group established Sinochem Stolt Shipping Ltd. with investments from both sides, which have brought a dramatic change to the water transportation of fine chemicals in domestic trade.
Xu Weihui introduced to Mr. Niels Stolt-Nielsen the rapid growth Sinochem International has achieved on the logistics of liquid chemical products in recent days, and expressed the wish for deeper and more extensive cooperation with Stolt Group. Niels Stolt-Nielsen expressed the importance laid to the cooperation between the two parties, and the move to seek further cooperation with Sinochem International, which is the very purpose of his leading a number of group senior managers for the visit when taking the opportunity of the group annual conference in Shanghai.
