Winning the hard battle of strategic development

On Feb. 12 & 13, Sinochem International 2007 work meeting was held, conveying the meeting gist of work for year 2007 of the Group, focusing on the assessment of the work of last year, objective analysis on various issued confronted with in the rapid growth of the company and the arrangement of key works of this year.
The whole team of senior management of Sinochem International and more than 130 key staff members attended the meeting. Chairman Luo Dongjian gave an important speech. Xu Weihui, Director & General Manager, gave the summary report. Qin Hengde, Deputy General Manager and Financial Controller, gave the performance rating report of 2006 on behalf of the management.

Luo Dongjiang pointed out in his speech that Sinochem International has made great achievements in 2006 in diversified leadership, effective management and enterprise culture. The work of integration and adjustment was also effective. Both would be of great significance to the hard battle in 2007.

Sinochem International would work hard on chemical . Basic efforts have to be put on sales and distribution as well as the integration of logistics, rubber, pesticide and chemical industry. In order to realize the leaping mode of development in the coming 3 years, Sinochem International shall get ready for the hard battle from the mindset and morale.

Xu Weihui emphasized in the summary report that it is to stick to the guiding of the Principle of 12 characters in the development of corporate strategy. The decision-making departments of operation and management shall understand the direction, knowing where the enterprise is heading for, how to consolidate the business. Each key staff member shall carry out operational plans earnestly and shall have the confidence for success and execution power to carry out 2007 work targets so as to win the hard battle of corporate strategic development.
Xu Weihui set the requirements to earnestly promote the various key activities in industrial integration, to ensure the achievement of the targets set by the Board in warrant financing, to start the 2nd round capital operation, to strengthen the building of internal control system and the effectiveness of EHS management, to establish conducive matrix management and service and to facilitate the strategic development. Each staff members for key positions shall become the enterprising leaders with better understanding on the principle of 12 characters and corporate strategy and have the control over further progress of transformation and management of each local department.
