On April 26, Shanghai SAFE-Transport Chemical Logistics Co., Ltd. successfully held its 2007 fire drill at Shanghai Baoshan Fleet parking area.
The drill first started from the practice of response to fire alarms, including simulation of fire alarm, launch of emergency response plan and the organizing and commanding process; the second phrase was to organize people in the field to use dry powder fire extinguisher to wipe out the simulated fire. Throughout the practice, safety personnel from the fleet explained to participants basics of fire protection, and further stressed the instructions in the use of portable dry powder fire extinguisher. As was planned, every participant performed the fire drill in a fast and accurate way.
