On April 17, Zhang Zenggen, General Manager of Sinochem International talked with Lu Bingguang, President of CNOOC and Shell Petrochemicals Company Limited.
Zhang Zenggeng gave a detailed introduction of Sinochem's historical evolution, strategic and business development of all major business sections, as well as governance structure and operation mechanism of the board of directors, meanwhile he also introduced management improvement work conducted by Sinochem International in recent years.
Lu Binggguang gave full affirmation to the cooperation between both sides on win-win basis in the past several years, and pointed out that in terms of future development orientation, both parties should establish long term cooperation partnership on the basis of achieving expansion and growth through joint efforts.
CNOOC and Shell Petrochemicals Company Limited is one of the Sino Cforeign petrochemical joint ventures with the largest investment in China. With a total investment amount of 4.2 billion USD, it is a world top level petrochemical united plant which manufactures a variety of petrochemical products with world leading technologies. Sinochem International and CNOOC Shell share excellent long term friendly strategic cooperation relation in the areas of distribution and logistics service of petrochemical products.
