Sinochem Held 2007 Annual Quality Meeting cum Commendation Meeting

On December 20, Sinochem held its 2007 Annual Quality Meeting cum Commendation Meeting. At the meeting a number of prizes including Golden Tripod Prize for Quality Management, Prize for Promotion of Quality Management, Prize for Outstanding Quality Management Teamwork, and Prize for Outstanding Internal Auditor for Quality Management were awarded to commend teams and individuals making prominent contributions to the establishment of ISO9001:2000 Quality Management System.

Ms. Guo Xiaoying from world famous accreditation agency DNV (Det Norske Veritas) awarded Certificate of ISO9001:2000 Quality Management System to Sinochem, and delivered a brilliant speech on promoting cooperative partnership with Sinochem.

Xian Ming, Executive Deputy General Manager of Sinochem, commented on annual quality management work in his speech. Xian Ming pointed out that the accreditation of ISO Quality Management System is a progressive process requiring continual perfection. The company should, by relying on this means, further consolidate the achievements of construction for quality management system, and achieve sustained improvement and enhancement of management procedures.

Mao Jianong, Executive Deputy General Manager, Li Chao, Deputy General Manager, and Liu Xiang, Secretary of the Board of Directors, attended the Meeting and awarded prizes to prize-wining teams and individuals.
