In order to protect the legitimate rights of farmers, staffs nationwide from the Agricultural Chemical Department of Sinochem assisted law-enforcement personnel from industrial and commercial departments to crack down on counterfeits. By the 20th of March, a total of over 400 boxes of fake Roundup were tracked, with nearly 200,000 Yuan involved.
With the arrival of planting seasons, Sinochem assisted Industrial and Commercial Departments and tracked several illegal activities to vendor fake Roundup in Badong of Hubei, Ningxiang of Hunan, Fuling District of Chongqing, Yunyang county, Kaili City of Guizhou, Jiaohe City of Jilin and other regions. In addition, Sinochem cooperated with Wanzhou TV Station of Chongqing City for large-scale publicizing activities to track down on fake Roundup.
Roundup is a kind of herbicide with the largest sales global wide. A total of over 30 million farmers use Roundup, with averagely one bottle being sold every second.
